Lighting
Light where the work happens, switches where your hand goes and dimmers that fade without a hum.
Plan my lighting — (000) 000-0000
A lone fixture in the middle of the kitchen puts your own shadow on the counter. A dozen cans on one switch make the family room feel like a showroom or a cave. More light is rarely the answer; light in the right spots is.
We plan the lighting with you a room at a time, thinking about what you do in each space and where you walk in and out. Fixtures go in with tidy ceiling cuts, LED fixtures get dimmers that are rated for them so they fade smoothly, and before any of that we confirm the circuit can take the added draw.
On bigger projects we set lights up in groups, so one control can switch the kitchen to cooking mode or the living room to movie night. Outside, we aim path and entry lights so they help you see the steps and the keyhole without lighting up the neighbours' bedrooms.
Thinking about smart switches? We will tell you which ones need a neutral wire in the box, which work with older wiring, and which are worth the money for the rooms you have in mind.
From one pendant to a whole-house plan.

Slim LED wafers or housings, evenly spaced, rated for insulation contact where needed.
Boxes rated for the weight, hung at the right height over islands and tables.
Low-profile LED on a switch or dimmer, drivers tucked out of sight.
Entry, path and security lights on weatherproof fixtures and protected circuits.
LED-rated dimmers, three-way switching, timers and motion sensors where handy.
Old fixtures and cans converted, usually without opening the ceiling.
Trims flush, fixtures lined up, switches labelled.
We talk through how you use each space, mark positions and send an itemised price.
Floors covered, circuits run, fixtures and controls fitted. Most rooms take a day or less.
Dimmer ranges set, every switch tested and the controls shown to you.
No holes go in the ceiling until you have seen and agreed the layout, so there are no surprises when the lights come on.
Dimmers matched to the fixtures.
Clean, careful cuts mean far less patching and painting for you once we have gone.
Tell us which ones. We will plan the fixtures with you and price the job in writing after a free visit.
